At Psychiatric Solutions, we collaborate with providers to create a seamless approach to patient care. We are proud to partner with you to support patient recovery and well-being.

When a patient or client you are serving needs a higher level of care in our area, Psychiatric Solutions is here to help. We believe in a holistic approach to patient care, and will work with you to meet the needs of our mutual patients and clients. Together, we can help patients with behavioral health issues get better.

Getting Started

Assessment

In order to determine if our programs are a good fit for a person’s needs, we offer a free assessment with one of our qualified therapists. Assessments help us collaborate with our patients to determine the level of care, programs, and additional services and treatments that are right for them.

Learn More About the Assessment Process

When you make a referral to one of our clinical programs, our trained assessment coordinators will collaborate with patients to identify their treatment needs, and determine which program or service best aligns with those needs.

Providing Free Behavioral Health Assessments

Many of our patients are referred to us by general practitioners, psychiatrists, psychologists, or other behavioral health professionals. In order to determine if our programs are a good fit for a person’s needs, we offer a free assessment with a qualified therapist, which takes about an hour. You can help schedule a patient assessment by using the contact form on our site, or making a direct referral via phone or fax.

Patients can expect the following during their free assessment

  • Trained assessment coordinators will ask several questions and review information patients have provided to them.
  • Following the assessment, a treatment option is recommended that best meets the emotional and physical needs of the patient.
  • Patients can ask any questions and discuss any concerns they have with assessment coordinators.

We may refer the patient to a support group, therapist, psychologist, psychiatrist or other behavioral health professional for outpatient treatment, intensive outpatient treatment, partial hospitalization, residential treatment, or inpatient treatment. In any case, we collaborate with patients and their families in deciding which level of care is the most appropriate for their individual circumstances, and they will leave with a greater understanding of the treatment options and resources available to them.

We accept many private insurance plans and can assist patients in verifying their insurance benefit coverage before treatment. In some instances, co-payments may be required, but individualized financial arrangements and self-pay options are also available. Following the free assessment, one of our Billing staff will consult with patients about insurance coverage and payment options.

Learn More About Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)

People often experience a need to step up their treatment from traditional therapy to a slightly more intensive treatment or step down from Partial Hospitalization on their journey to health. Our Intensive Outpatient program is a mid-level comprehensive treatment plan, designed to fill this gap.

Our Intensive Outpatient program is three hours of intensive treatment per day for three to four days a week, potentially allowing patients to work or attend school while seeking treatment. We offer personalized care during the day, with the comfort of sleeping in their own bed at night.

IOP patients learn helpful ideas about how to manage symptoms in both group and individual settings.

In this program, they can:

  • Live at home in familiar and comfortable surroundings
  • Attend work or school while getting focused help in an outpatient setting
  • Receive an intensive level of personalized care from a highly qualified behavioral health team
  • Receive consistent interaction to effectively manage medication adjustments
  • Receive attention more quickly than other traditional outpatient programs

For patients needing assistance with transportation, we may be able to help. Please contact us for more information.
